High-performance voice and motion control

Life is messy! That's why we develop sensor technologies that offer quicker, more efficient access to our bin, removing friction and effort from the task.

I hear you!

It only takes one microphone for accurate voice recognition, even in loud, busy environments. Just say, “open can” — or you can say, “stay open” for longer chores then “close can” when you are finished with your task.

Streamlining the task

Our unique liner rim system is a faster, neater way to rubbish! The outer lid lifts up for easy access to the liner — no need to remove the top of the bin or fumble with a clumsy bucket. When you're done, it closes over the liner to keep it neatly out of sight.

Keep liners where you need them

Our liner pocket makes it easy to store a 20 pack of custom fit liners inside the bin so you never have to search for them.

Dispenses liners inside the bin

Our liner pocket dispenses liners one by one quickly and easily for a faster liner change.

Cleaner stainless steel

Our invisible silver-ion coating resists fingerprints and the spread of germs without dulling the natural sheen and luster of the steel (brushed stainless steel models).

Perfect fit — extra strong

Our code Q custom fit liners fit this bin perfectly so there's no bunching, slipping or messy bag overhang for a neater, cleaner look. They are also extra-thick and double-seamed so you can pack your rubbish to the rim without rips, leaks or tears.

Optional compost caddy

Add our compost caddy to your rubbish-sorting routine — it conveniently docks on the side of this rubbish bin encouraging you to separate organics from rubbish, making waste management even more efficient.

Frequently Asked Questions

Lid is not responding with voice command, but responding with motion control.

Dirt might be collected in the sensor hole cut out.

  1. Remove batteries or unplug the AC adapter.
  2. Use electronic duster/compressed air to blow off any collected dust on the 3 mic holes; 1 in the front and 2 in the back.
  3. Reinsert batteries or plug the unit back in.

Batteries Drain Quickly

Sensor can may be trying to “listen” consistently in noisy areas, which drains the batteries faster than normal. We recommend using the included AC adapter.

Lid does not open all the way / does not stay open / closes prematurely / is not responding and showing blue LED

Reset the can by cleaning off debris at the hinge gap, wiping the voice and motion sensors, and checking for a broken hinge.

NOTE: When first turned on, it is normal for red/blue lights to cycle once.

  1. Remove batteries or unplug the AC adapter.
  2. Wipe sensor lens clean using rubbing alcohol.
  3. Use electronic duster/compressed air to blow off any collected dust on the 3 mic holes; 1 in the front and 2 in the back.
  4. Clean any debris within the hinge gap and check if there is any crack / broken part on the hinge.
  5. Manually close the lid until it is completely flush with the can and re-insert new alkaline batteries or plug the unit back in.

Lid is not closing all the way/squeaks

Debris or trash might be stuck within the hinge gap.

  1. Remove batteries or unplug the AC adapter.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean stainless steel weekly with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild detergent. DO NOT use steel wool, stainless steel polisher, bleach, salts or acids as these will damage the product. Or use our microfiber mitt, which just uses water on one side to wash and the other dry side to wipe and polish. Our stickers should not leave residue, but if this happens, remove using adhesive removers such as “Goo-Gone®”, “Un-du®” or “De-solv-it®”. Be sure to rinse the area with water and dry with a soft cloth.
