The Eve Appeal is the only UK national charity raising awareness and funding research into the prevention and early diagnosis of the five gyanecological cancers –womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal.
The 2026 mission is more urgent than ever: the charity urges everyone to “chat to your GP, not ChatGPT” regarding gynaecological health concerns. Recent research found that women are increasingly turning to AI platforms for health advice, yet testing reveals these tools often miss “red-flag” cancer symptoms and provide inaccurate or outdated information.
By breaking down the stigma surrounding the five gynaecological cancers - womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval, and vaginal, we can ensure more people receive life-saving, professional diagnoses instead of relying on unreliable algorithms.
